Scrub Daddy Inc., the cleaning brand known for its smiley-faced sponge, has expanded its global footprint with a new distribution agreement in Colombia. This milestone was achieved through a successful connection made during the Inspired Home Show 2024, under the Trade Export Promotion Program (TEPP) organized by the U.S. Commercial Service (CS) in Bogota.

As part of the TEPP initiative, CS Bogota worked diligently to promote the event and recruit a Colombian delegation of buyers, creating a unique opportunity for U.S. brands to connect with potential international partners. One of the key players in this delegation was Eterna S.A., a well-established company in Colombia with a strong presence in the retail sector.

The partnership between Scrub Daddy Inc. and Eterna S.A. quickly gained momentum during the event, with both sides recognizing the potential for success in the Colombian market. This interaction culminated in the signing of a distribution agreement that will see Scrub Daddy products enter Colombian households.

The initial sales projections are promising, with expectations of $500,000 in wholesale sales within the first year. As the brand establishes itself in the region and consumer awareness grows, Scrub Daddy anticipates significant growth, with sales reaching $1 million by the third year of operation.
