21Alive, Gray Television to air select Indiana Fever games

INDIANA (WPTA) - 21Alive and Gray Television have partnered with Indiana Fever to broadcast 17 of the team’s 2024 games, bringing thousands of homes the chance to watch the #1 overall WNBA draft pick Caitlin Clark’s season debut.

Clark is also playing alongside WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston as they work to return to the playoffs.

The WNBA player is credited with helping draw record viewership during the women’s NCAA championship via the ‘Caitlin Clark Effect’. To make these games accessible in even more households, 21Alive is proudly airing 17 of Indiana Fever’s 2024 games on Channel 21.3, MyTV.

“This is a key moment for women’s sports and live sports on broadcast television,” Gray Television COO Sandy Breland said. “Continuing Gray’s commitment to live local sports, Gray is beyond excited to bring the Fever free, over the air to local viewers in Cincinnati, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Lexington and South Bend.”

Fever’s regular season begins on Thursday, May 14, playing against the Connecticut Sun before returning to Indianapolis for their home opener against the New York Liberty on May 16.
