Bayer Could Get Help From Missouri Legislature in Legal Fight Over Roundup

Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against a Saint Louis area company alleging that it failed to warn users that its weedkiller could cause cancer.

The Missouri House has passed a bill that could shield Bayer from cancer-related lawsuits.

Pleasant Hill Republican Mike Haffner asks the bill sponsor, Butler Republican Dane Diehl, about some of the opposing arguments…

On the other hand, Saint Louis Democrat LaDonna Applebaum, who is undergoing cancer treatment, says supporting this bill is supporting cancer.

The proposal goes to the Senate for additional work.
