Lady Saints Top Nevada 8-2 on Monday Night
Nevada- The Lady Saints traveled to Nevada on Monday night for a non-conference matchup with the Lady Jays. As both teams are trying to get ready for their respective postseason runs coming up in the near future, Silbi Jones from GMCS and Jill Pinner of Nevada both took the pitchers circle on Monday night. Jones would end up striking out 16 batters, allowing just 5 hits, and 4 free passes. Pinner would strike out 7 batters for the Lady Jays, allowing just 7 hits. The Lady Saints would go on to win the game 8-2 behind an excellent pitching performance from Silbi Jones. 

Mikayla Fields had herself a night at the plate, as she racked up 4 hits, including a double to lead the Lady Saints offense. Baylee Pogue would smash a triple and a single for GMCS. Charity Zumwalt had a single and an RBI. Raylee Adkison drew 2 walks at the plate and had 2 RBI for Garrett Memorial. The Lady Saints drew 11 walks on Monday night, as they had a lot of traffic on the bases. Reagan Gammage led the Lady Jays at the plate on Monday, as she smacked 3 hits including a double. Jill Pinner had an RBI single, Jocelyn Autry had a single and also drew a walk, and Trinity Kendall stole home to score the second run for the Lady Jays. 

Garrett Memorial is back in action on Tuesday night as they play Southwest. Nevada is back in action on Tuesday as well as they travel to Blevins for a conference showdown.
