PwC Cyprus’ ‘Investors in People’ platinum accreditation renewed

The renewal of PwC’s prestigious ‘We invest in People’ platinum accreditation, reflects the organisation’s commitment to the continuous development of its people and practices.

Platinum is the highest level of accreditation possible to achieve on the ‘We Invest in People’ accreditation, and something only 2% of organisations achieve.

“The wellbeing and development of our people is at the heart of everything we do, as they are the driving force behind our success,” said Partner and Head of Human Capital at PwC Cyprus, Anna Loizou, commenting on the renewal of the accreditation.

“We are very proud of the fact that during these challenging times, they continue to bring our purpose of building trust in society, and solving important problems, to life.”

Ongoing Learning & Development

PwC is committed to supporting its people to become the leaders of tomorrow. The organisation believes in the unlimited potential of young people and invests in the future by recruiting young university graduates and supporting the development of its people throughout their career.

During the past year, 62% of PwC’s people participated in online digital upskilling courses and 25% of them completed the Digital Academy curriculum in the context of the ‘New World, New Skills’ global initiative.

Continuously improving the work environment

As part of its effort to continuously improve its work environment, PwC has adopted the ‘Everyday Flexibility’ framework, giving its people the ability to gain more control over their time by choosing where, how and when they will work.

PwC also adopted the ‘Be Well, Work Well’ programme, which is part of the organisation’s innovative global approach aimed at improving the wellbeing of its people. Through the programme, PwC is investing in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing of its people, both at the professional and personal level.

Responding to challenges

During the unprecedented conditions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, PwC’s number one priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its people.

Thanks to its solid technological infrastructure and the modern work practices the organisation adopted over recent years, PwC’s people were working from home or on a rotation basis very early on. This continues to allow PwC to support its people, clients and associates to navigate through these challenging times successfully.
