Hungary Defeat Bermuda In Lacrosse World Cup

Bermuda was back in action in the Lacrosse World Cup taking place in Israel, just narrowly losing to Hungary by a score of 7 – 6.

Bermuda had the ball with less than a minute left on offense, and the game was tied 6-6, but Hungary’s goalie, Johnathan Yen, got the ball, heaved it the length of the field, and they scored the game winner 1-on-1 vs the Bermuda goalie with 16 seconds left to win the game in regulation.

Bermuda had earlier gotten 3 goals from Cole Rance, 2 strikes from Bobby Walker and a single goal from Drew Jenkins, while Hungary would get 3 goals from Alex Bookout, Karsten Nyarady, Dylan Portnoy and Oliver Hollo.
